I have a two year old Chigi Bayley who thinks he is as tough as a Pitbull. Bayley is very clingy to me and my daughter who lives at a different residence and demands our attention. When she comes to visit he acts as though I do not exist. He is good with my husband but kind of distant. He plays well with children and other pets. He weighs about 7 pounds and loves to go out in our fenced in yard to play and chase the birds and ground squirrels away.

I think this is a great idea! I have a chihuahua mix and she is the best dog ever!

love your website…everything you said about a chigi is sooo TRUE. I wish I had found your site but I do have a purebreed chigi and her name is Miny and she is beautiful, smart, and loving oh and YES sheds like the dickens smh lol she is a Christmas baby and will be 4 this Christmas coming up. She is the white and fawn color and totally has the whole characters of both breeds and she has one sibling/sister who was all white(but someone had purchased her already for a higher price lol), there was only 2 in the litter. I had purchased her and picked her up from her parents at 6 weeks old and paid $800 only. Everyone loves her and esepecially the grandkids and Miny loves them too. She gets so excited when they come over. My Miny tho I must say is a very Spoiled Diva and she knows it too and is pretty well trained and is only 20 lbs. So thank you for letting and giving out this information on chigis. Hope anyone that is looking for one I want them to know they are so worth it.
