I have a Yorkipoo and the people that we got her from said no one wanted her because she didn’t have the long yorkie hair on her head and face. She has short coarse hair. They were asking 900.00. For the puppies and because no one wanted her they gave her to us. My Husband wanted her and after a long discussion I said ok. s a 130 pound Black Lab and a jealous basset mix at . We brought her home and they love each other. She loves, loves, the Lab. My Husband passed away in 2021 and that left me with Moo ( Molly) and I am so happy we got her. She’s smart and sweet and very spoiled. My friends and family are in love and I’ve had several people threaten to steal her. Incredible my insurance man. I couldn’t be happier with her she is my shadow and loves every one even the cat. I wouldn’t trade her for anything. Even though she is kind of funny looking. Poodle face and Yorkie body

I have a beloved 6-year old Yorkipoo that has moments where she’s loving but many times can be very aggressive, particularly when she encounters other dogs or people……barks excessively at animals on TV especially cats!
I’m not sure if she’s wanting to play with them or attempting to be my guard dog! I’ve tried to get her to ease up with other people but until she knows her surroundings & those around her are safe, she keeps her guard up…..give her a treat & she’ll mellow!

Hello,
I am David and my wife is Grace. We have decided to get a companion dog for myself. I am a disabled veteran and have become lazy. I love fishing and time in my fishing boat. We feel that a Yorkipoo may be the best choice for us, since I have allergies. We feel a non-shedding dog between 10 and 14 pounds is perfect for our lifestyle.

We will go through all the training courses to end up with a well-trained dog. Everyone agrees that a well-trained dog is loved by everyone. A poorly trained dog is despised by many.

Now for my question: Since 12-14 pounds is the target range, should we look for a Yorkipoo with a Yorkie or miniature Poodle mother? For the best temperament, should we seek a female or male? And finally, how do we find one with the best parental health history? (Breeders tend to glaze over health history and we do want to get it right the first time.)

Feel free to contact me any time. I have a mobile: 501 209-9037 for text and photos
