My fear is that this dog will get into the hands of the bad owners, like pitties have, and earn the same fearful reputation, abuse, neglect and murder that these bad owners are known for. The fact they cost a lot, is no factor for a mindset that wants an aggressive dog to enhance their sick ego. Between the 2, the Canis seems to earn the rep honestly, therefore, will become popular amongst these hideous people. I hope the breeder responsibly choose owners.

I got one male canis. It’s really have split personality. A smart guard dog but intolerant to few things which makes him unpredictable around children.

I feel your description of the breed in “Final Thoughts On The Canis Panther” is unfair and extremely negative. You admit to having never heard of the breed before writing this article. I don’t think you have the necessary knowledge to speak so negatively about them. In four years of ownership, my dog has never shown any aggression towards a child, adult or another animal. It all comes down to how you raise any breed of dog. He’s neutered and socialized. I’m 73 yrs. old, just over 100 pounds and 5′ tall. He’s 4yrs old, 34in. at his shoulder and 150 pounds. I’ve never had a problem handling him. He’s great with children too.
