I am so excited to see my girl Maully bloom and grow. She is 2 months old she is so sweet and lazy for the most part but when awake she is so active! Can’t wait to start training her, and teaching her so many things. This is my first time owning a Presa but not my first time owning a Mastiff. She really has been the best addition to the family these past days. <3

We adopted our Presa at 3 months, not knowing her breed. Once we found out she was Presa and after doing research, we hired a trainer. She is currently 7 months and doing really well with her daily hikes, dog park walks/runs, and “helping” in our broomball games. We’ve been trying to get her as socialized as we can.

Really hoping she’s a water dog. Our previous pup would keep me company paddleboarding and swimming. I also got a bigger paddleboard to prep for summer:)

You simply cannot keep a working dog in an apartment. They could quite easily run 10km a day, but you are keeping it in the equivalent of a shoebox.

Best thing you could do would be move to a property where your dog can move about freely amd safely.

Best rescue dog we have ever adopted! To the one above who states the breed is evil must be an incompetent pet owner. We rescued our Presa at 2 years of age he is great with kids and family. Playful with other dogs. No aggression! He is alert and becomes protective when appropriate which I love. The perfect dog for responsible competent pet owners.

Wow?! Evil? I can’t believe some one would call them evil. No dog is evil unless you make them evils god created their life as much as ours. I have a mastiff mix that has been a service dog for 10 years and a Presa puppy that is 13 weeks old and super sweet.

This breed is amazing when worked with. My Presa – Harvey is such a nanny with my son. He was 9 months old when my son was born and they have grown up together over the last six years. Harvey was 5 weeks old when I got him and we have done everything we could to show him that there is a pecking order. He knows his place. We bear hugged and my son would pull ears and tails and never once did Harvey show signs of aggression. It just goes to show that when owners truly work with their dogs – no matter the bad reputation of a breed – that they can be well behaved and social members of the family. He is very protective, loyal and works our land well with us. We garden and have chickens and he is a protector of all. He is always outside with us and when inside is the most well behaved. I couldn’t have asked for a better family pet.

I have a Presa that is 5 1/2 years old. He is very spoiled. Weighs about 200lbs. Wasn’t raised to be mean because of being around kids and family. Is friendly to everyone unless owner or kids is threatened. Gets between parties and barks to tell you to get back. Never has been aggressive or attacked ANYONE!!! Took me almost 6 months to train him. They are very smart and require attention when they are like mine. Very spoiled. Lol

I have owned working breeds for over 40 years and just had my first Presa pts due to hemangiosarcoma inside the spleen, she was 5 years old. I have her granddaughter who is will soon be 8 months old. I often wonder where this breed was when I was working with GSDs, yes nothing compared to the Presa but I found when worked with at 8 weeks of age on a daily basis and kept in control, an amazing smart confident breed that will do anything you ask with a smile and at their pleasure. My first one was a registered mobility and stability dog and I am hoping her granddaughter will follow her path.
