Question: I have MALE miniature dachshunds that are not neutered and I’m getting a FEMALE Golden Retriever. Are the dams and sires of Golden Dox puppies always a Golden sire and Dachshund dam or does it go both ways? If so, is having a Golden dam or a Golden sire better? I actually am not looking to breed them, but it’s an English cream Golden and my dachshunds are English cream (all are pure bred from healthy lineages), so I could see it being a good combination.
